About Adult Jazz Instructor Nicholas Powers!

Nicholas began dancing with Studio One Dance & Acrobatic Center in Millinocket and Houlton beginning as a young child. There he learned the importance of simply letting loose and having fun while dancing. Nicholas later was involved in the dance clubs at the University of Maine, Orono before graduating in 2022.

Nicholas’s aim for this adult class is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can have fun and break a sweat while learning a new dance combination each week. Dance has always been a stress reliever for Nicholas and he hopes others can benefit from this laid back jazz-funk class.

What to wear and bring: comfortable exercise attire, sneakers and socks (although some dancers find bare feet more comfortable to dance in), water bottle.

Register for the whole series or drop in when you can! Registration is done at your first class in person. No need to register ahead of time.
