Studio Show

Our Studio Shows will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018

The Studio Show takes the place of a full blown recital. It is an opportunity for our students to learn a piece of choreography to be performed for friends and family. Costumes, for the most part, will be provided by School of Robinson Ballet and the Robinson Ballet. All students are invited to participate in the show. Preparations begin in full about a month and a half or so before the show. We ask that all students who decide to participate make a commitment to attend all those classes.

The Shows will be held at the Union St. Brick Church

There will be a dress rehearsal on the afternoon of Friday June 1st

There will be two shows. One will begin at 10:30 a.m. the other at 12:30 p.m. Each of the shows will run approximately one hour. Each class will participate in one of the shows. Show designations are posted below.

There will be a $5.00 entry fee for audience members. There will be no fee for children 5 and under.

If there are any concerns or questions about the shows please feel free to ask your child’s teacher or see Maureen.

STUDIO SHOW REHEARSALS- June 1, 2018 at the Union St. Brick Church

Our Studio Show Dress Rehearsals will be held on Friday, June 1st, at the Union Street Brick Church.
Dancers should arrive at the church at the following times to dress in costumes and practice their dance on the stage. As soon as we have a full class dressed and ready to go we will get them on stage. Dancers may leave once their class has had their stage rehearsal. We will try to be as efficient as possible and ask for your patience as there may be some waiting time.

We need help to transport stage platforms from the Brick Church basement to construct or stage for the Studio Shows

The stage needs to be set up prior to Friday’s rehearsal and taken down after the 12:30 show. We will need volunteers to help with this. We are willing to exchange Studio Show Tickets or some class payments in exchange for help.

Set up will be Wednesday afternoon May 30th beginning at 4:30

Please contact Maureen if you are willing and able to help with this important task

Thank You!
